I was going to buy a pair of processors from him at 2cpu.com. He has only a couple negative heatware evals. SO i had him ship first.I then get this PM from him

Well, then i GET the board, and his packaging was absolutely SCREWED UP. He just put the BOARD in the box (with padding), NO STATIC BAG, and the PROCESSORS were NOT PACKED SEPARATELY. One of them had come loose and was rolling around on the board freely. The board and chips were both DOA. I PM'ed him and asked him what he wanted to do. This was his reply.

well from all that i know about that board u do need the additional power plug that is on the board
top right hand corner

as for a vid card i am sure that board cannot support a gf4
now i have a Asus v8200 and i think that it worked with that
i know for sure that it did work with a gf2 gts

if u have the additional power plug in and a gf2 to test with please do

I told him I would make every attempt to test the parts separately, and DID, screwed around with it for a WEEK. Finally after I was convinced it was dead. I threw out the parts as he instructed I could do. Then a few days later he comes back and gives me a negative... an absolute troll if you ask me

It looks like the USPS lost the motherboard en route to Canada. Ben has been very communicative as we have tried to find out what happened to his board. I had the board insured so maybe the postal systems (U.S. & Canadian) will find it rather than pay out. I would definately buy/sell/trade with Ben again.

very good trader. i'd seen his problem with nipster unfold at the 2cpu forums so i required payment first. he agreed without issue and was totally up front with me about having to wait a week to get the funds together. since he offered my asking price for the equipment right off the bat i was willing to give him time.

we both waited a couple weeks for our collective postal services (canadian and US) to move the MO across the border and all the while we were in close communication. he was very patient while waiting, and we both learned that fedex is MUCH speedier for cross-border shipping :)

i will definitely deal with this guy again.
